Seed to Gummy

The process is
the product.

At miniclouds, how we make things isn't separate from what we make. The quality you experience in the gummy is a direct result of every decision made from the first seed to the final batch.

What Is Live Rosin?

Solventless. Full-spectrum.
Nothing stripped away.

Live rosin starts with fresh-frozen cannabis — harvested at peak terpene expression and frozen immediately to preserve every aromatic compound. Unlike solvent-based extracts, live rosin uses only water, ice, and pressure to separate trichomes from the plant material, then gentle heat to press the resin into the final extract.

The result is the most complete expression of the cannabis plant in extract form — full terpene profile, minor cannabinoids, and the "entourage effect" that comes from keeping those compounds together.

Why it matters for gummies: Most edibles use distillate, which is re-introduced with terpenes after refinement (if at all). Live rosin gummies carry the authentic terpene and cannabinoid profile of a specific harvest — the plant as it was, not an approximation.

Step by Step

From seed to gummy —
every step documented.

This is how a miniclouds gummy gets made. Nothing hidden, nothing abbreviated.

01

Seed Selection & Genetics

We start with verified, clean genetics — known lineages with documented terpene and cannabinoid profiles. Seed selection determines the flavor ceiling of everything that follows. We don't compromise here because we can't recover it later.

02

Pesticide-Free Cultivation

Every plant is grown in organic, living soil without synthetic pesticides, fungicides, or growth regulators. We use integrated pest management: environmental controls (temperature, humidity, airflow), regular inspection, and beneficial insects. Plants are hand-watered and individually monitored from seedling to harvest. Pre-harvest pesticide testing is conducted before any plant enters the extraction process.

03

Peak-Harvest Timing

Harvest timing is determined by trichome maturity under magnification — not a calendar date. We wait for the specific window where terpene and cannabinoid expression peaks. This single decision significantly affects the character of the final extract and cannot be corrected downstream.

04

Immediate Fresh-Freeze

Freshly harvested flower is placed into sealed bags and frozen within minutes of cutting. This stops terpene degradation and preserves the full aromatic compound profile exactly as it was at the moment of harvest. The "live" in live rosin refers to this step — the extract is made from living plant material, not dried and cured flower.

05

Ice Water Hash Extraction

Frozen flower is submerged in ice water and agitated to break trichome heads from the plant material. The water and trichomes are run through progressively finer mesh screens (work bags), separating trichomes by size. This process uses only ice, water, and mechanical agitation — zero solvents at any stage.

06

Freeze-Drying

Collected hash is freeze-dried to remove moisture while preserving the full terpene profile. Heat-drying would degrade terpenes. Freeze-drying maintains the hash at low temperature throughout the drying process, ensuring nothing is lost.

07

Rosin Pressing

Freeze-dried full-melt hash is pressed at low heat between filter bags using a hydraulic rosin press. Controlled temperature and pressure release the oil from the hash, producing live rosin — a full-spectrum, solventless cannabis concentrate. Temperature is kept low to preserve heat-sensitive terpenes.

08

Third-Party Lab Testing

Before any rosin enters the gummy production process, a sample is sent to an independent, ISO-accredited laboratory. Testing panels include: cannabinoid potency, terpene profile, residual solvents (listed for completeness — none possible with solventless process), pesticides (full panel), heavy metals, and microbial contamination. A Certificate of Analysis is generated for every batch.

09

Small Batch Gummy Production

Live rosin is homogenized into a clean gummy base formulated for optimal cannabinoid absorption and flavor expression. Batch size is deliberately kept small — production volume is constrained by the size of each grow, not commercial pressure. Each batch is numbered, dated, and tied to a specific rosin lot and its associated COA.

10

Final Testing & Release

Finished gummies are tested for accurate dosing, consistency, and compliance with applicable regulations before release. Batch number, cannabinoid content, and COA reference are included on every package. Nothing ships without passing final QC.

The Small Batch Difference

Why we won't
scale past the quality.

Live rosin gummy production is constrained by the grow. One harvest yields a finite amount of material. We don't blend runs together to hit a volume target — that's a distillate playbook.

When a batch sells out, we wait for the next grow. That wait is what keeps the standard intact. Scarcity isn't positioning — it's the honest result of doing things the right way.
